Day 9 – Adapt & Overcome

Today was pretty good.  It started off on the right note with my presentation in History.  Mainly because (or in spite) of my sweet drawing skills.  Presentations are always fun though.

Anyways, after that I got an email saying that my e-junkie affiliate program wasn’t working.  So I downloaded JAM by JROX, installed it and setup an affiliate program in the span of 15 minutes.  That was a good thing.

Since, I think site #1 is pretty much sold by the mailing, now I’m working on cranking out a few sites that have revenue and a list so they’re easier to flip lightening fast.  My traffic driving method is CPV (I’ll write a process map for it and put it in here tomorrow).  To make the model work I need views for about $.015 per view.  That’ll be close to breaking even, which will then let me sell the site for cost (work, domain, etc).

That said, here’s what I got done today:

What I Got Done Today:

• Registered domain for site #2.
• Setup prosper202 tracking system.
• Wrote the 12 pieces of content for site #2.
• Designed a logo.
• Installed WordPress.
• Setup the text squeeze page.
• Setup the text sandwich page.
• Created a split test in Google Website Optimizer.
• Found a great URL scraper (Laser URL).
• Registered with Clicksor.
• Created a primary keyword list with Google External Keyword Tool.

And that’s about it.

What I Want to Do Tomorrow:

• Customize Ashford theme.
• Write 5 bullet points for each piece of content.
• Setup video squeeze page.
• Setup video sandwich page.
• Setup 2 step order form.
• Copy sandwich page as first follow-up email.
• Install DAP plugin.
